The Vanderbilt Spine Center consists of 5 orthopaedic physicians and one nurse assistant. Our surgeons provide comprehensive evaluations in both the ambulatory setting as well as the in-patient setting. We render decision analysis on patients to have a wide variety of adult and pediatric spinal disorders.
Surgical experiences include many patients with complex reconstruction and revision challenges as well as a wide variety of disorders that involve the entire spine: cervical, thoracic, and lumbo-sacral. Patients with spinal deformities, tumors, and fractures are treated using a variety of surgical approaches, varying implants, and up-to-date surgical techniques. Non-operative management strategies are emphasized as well to include proper activation and pain management approaches.
The Spine Center is associated with the National Spine Network as one of 20 "Centers of Excellence" for spine care around the United States.
