photo of Dr. RummoDr. Rummo is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Massachusetts, followed by a fellowship in primary care sports medicine here at Vanderbilt University.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Rummo continued to build a busy practice at Vanderbilt Sports Medicine Center treating patients with sports injuries and non-surgical orthopaedic problems. He also served as team physician for Vanderbilt University and Belmont University athletic departments, and assisted in the primary care sports medicine fellowship program at Vanderbilt University. In addition, Dr. Rummo served as Associate Medical Director of the Country Music Marathon.

Dr. Rummo returned to New England in 2000 and continued practicing sports medicine and non-surgical orthopaedics in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He is very excited returning to Vanderbilt University to be a member of the sports medicine team and Hand Center as well as a team physician.
Dr. Rummo is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in primary care sports medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Clinical Interests: Treatment of all athletic injuries and non-surgical orthopaedic problems in patients of all ages.
