This interdisciplinary clinic meets on the second Thursday afternoon of each month to provide for the evaluation and prescription of prosthetic appliances for upper and lower limb amputees.
Several prosthetic firms in Nashville have representatives attend this clinic to provide technical expertise that assists in the formulation of the appropriate prosthetic prescription.
State-of-the-art prosthetics have been developed over many years, beginning with crude appliances and progressing to present, space-age materials and technology. In this clinic, our goal is to provide the most useful and patient-friendly prosthetic devices that meet the unique needs of each individual.
The amputee clinic also offers continued medical treatment for the management of amputations
